During an interview at the show, Marc Monday, who runs the channel in North America, provided very limited information on channel specialization in responses to questions about any microverticals and industry specific authorizations.  But a VAR posted a photo of the slide giving the names. The new group of authorized VARs are Armanino, Baass Business Solutions, Baker Tilly Digital, DWD Technology Group,, CompuData, IWI Consulting, Kerr Consulting, Practical Software Solutions, RKL Solutions, Stewart Technologies, SWK Technologies, Vrakas/Blum Computer Consulting. It seems an odd approach—wouldn’t you want the companies that might be these products and services to have knowledge of this specially chosen group to kick off the effort? There is an odd note on the portion of the Sage website which discusses SDMO. It says “Trusted by rkl eSolutions and Practical Software Solutions.
