QLIK BUYS MOZAIC DATA Featured

 Analytical software vendor Qlik has acquired Mozaic Data, which provides innovative AI-driven data management technology. Terms were not disclosed.

Mozaic utilizes what it calls a Data Product Experience approach that follows the principles of decentralized architecture. “Mozaic enables organizations to build, secure, govern, deploy and manage domain-centric data products in the cloud,” according to Qlik’s announcement. “These data products can be discovered through a data product marketplace, and accessed through a broad spectrum of consumption patterns, enabling diverse business use cases.” Qlik said the deal will accelerate data deployment on utilization across platforms such as Amazon Redshift, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake Mozaic found Sharad Kumar has become Qlik’s regional head of data integration and quality. Qlik says Kumar will help it develop a next-generation Data Product Catalog application.
