Ayers’ elevation at the ERP software company follows last month’s departure of Samuel Monti. Monti, who had held the Epicor job since January 2021, left to become CEO of Crownpeak. Ayers has worked at Epicor since April 2021 and was previously VP of FP&A and business intelligence. He spent five years three months with Kronos (which merged with Ultimate Software) where he was VP of finance operations from June 2019 through March 2021 in his last job. His experience includes slightly more than five years as an audit manager at KPMG.
