CERTINIA NAMES NEW CEO Featured

Certinia has named DJ Paoni, an SAP veteran executive as its new CEO. He replaces Scott Brown who left in September, according to his LinkedIn profile, one month short of his third anniversary with the PSA company.

Although Certinia, formerly FinancialForce, has not officially announced it, Robert Cefasky became COO this month, according to his LinkedIn profile. Certinia was acquired in July by Haveli Investments, so it's probably a safe bet that more changes will happen under a new owner and new CEO. However, job changes in the executive ranks are not unusual within the company. Brown had replaced Todd Nielsen, who held the top job for four years. Overall, there are two other relatively fresh faces at Certinia. Todd Kisaberth became Chief Customer Officer in February 2022, and Jon Turner took over the revolving door job of Chief Revenue Officer a year ago. Paoni's career at SAP lasted slightly more than 26 years, with his last tenure spent as President of SAP North America from July 2017 through August 2022."  Cefasky joined Certinia after nearly the years with AutoAlert where he was CFO and COO
