VISMA REVS UP 15 PERCENT Featured

Revenue for Visma rose 15 percent year-over-year to roughly $57.5 million, also up 15 percent organically, the ERP vendor said this week.

Oslo, Norway-based Visma reported SaaS revenue reached about $41.3 million, an increase of 22 percent over last year’s corresponding period while cloud services rose 3.9 percent to approximately $8.3 million. Meanwhile, revenue from on-premise products fell 6.6 percent to about $6.6 million. Net income from continuing operations was approximately $61.1 million, a 117-percent increase. Like most vendors, Visma touted its efforts in artificial intelligence, saying it has 118 projects underway in that arena. Despite its geographical expansion, the contribution of its top market, Scandinavia, increased as a percent of sales for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, and the same was true of sales for the Netherlands. Visma also operates in South America and in the last year has moved into France and Germany and is now active in much of Western European and some central European countries.
