The troubles of the United States business of reseller Columbus continued in 2022. Service revenue of $11.5 million last year was down .1 percent from the prior year.

The company does not break out product revenue for its geographical units. In During the Company’s recent webcast for earnings for 2022, CEO Søren Krogh Knudsen said the “negative development is not considered satisfactory, and management is focusing on performing a turnaround on this market.” Columbus has been turning around its U.S. business for a couple of years now. Revenue for the Denmark-based company was about $199.1 million, an increase for 8.8 percent from 2021. The biggest chunk of revenue came from the roughly $92.6 million in Dynamics service revenue, up 4.2 percent from the prior year. Geographically, top line growth came from the United Kingdom, where revenue rose 16.1 percent year-over-year, and the company’s largest market, Norway, which had an increase in revenue of 13.6 percent. The U.S. was the only one of seven market units to show a decline in sales.
