Private equity firm Gryphon Investors has acquired Rootstock Software. Terms of the deal were not announced.

In its announcement of the deal this month, Rootstock said minority investors, Salesforce Ventures and the management team re-invested. Former CEO Pat Garrehy, who founded the ERP company in 2008, has joined the board of directors The new CEO, David Stephens, joined in May 2013 and has since been chief revenue officer and president. The company markets Rootstock Cloud ERP, which was designed for manufacturing customers,  Rootstock enhanced the platform this summer a new request-for-quote feature, improved demanded planning through connectivity between Rootstock Service and Salesforce Field Service, updated financial analytics, a user interface that enables customers to utilize the Rootstock Lightning Toolkit to customer the look and feel  and what were described as optimized mobile capabilities
