 David Smith, who was previously VP of U.S. partners, has been named VP of worldwide channel sales by Microsoft.

Smith has worked with the software company for 23 years eight months. He came to Microsoft in December 1998 and has since had a number of sales positions, including GM of Dynamics partners from November 2007 through July 2011 and GM of worldwide SMB Sales from July 2011 through July 2015. Before his new job, he was in his position of VP of U.S. partners from July 2017 until this month.
