AVALARA SETS UP BIG 4 PROGRAM Featured

 Kim Austin has joined Avalara as director of global strategic accounting partnership this week. Avalara’s ad for this job says it involves managing Big Four relationships globally.

This is a new program for the sales tax software company and Austin is the first person to hold the role. Avalara executives have been discussing what the company needs to do to move upstream in the market and this kind of position sounds like the kind of program needed to move into the enterprise arena and is described in the ad as being responsible for global strategy and executing programs. "This is a high impact role requiring collaboration across multiple functions in Avalara including but not limited to sales, customer loyalty, marketing, product, business development as well as with our international teams," the ad reads Austin spent the prior eight years four months at Intuit she was national partner development manager Austin is also a member of the board of directors of the Information Technology Alliance.
