SECOND HALF FULL OF SHOWS Featured

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in conference schedule weighted far more to the second half of the year than has been usual. For example, formerly held in the spring, Oracle NetSuite SuiteWorld moved to the fall last year and this year it remains in the second half from September 22 through 29 in Las Vegas.

A new Oracle show showed up in the fall with plans for the first Oracle Cloud World on October 16 to 20, also in Vegas. Zoho moved the original plans for its Zoholics conference from the spring to July 25 to 27 in Austin, Texas (Or as I like to think of it, a chance to hit Gus’ Chicken for a meal). Xerocon is back after a two-year absence but like the others, instead of a spring event as was formerly the schedule, Xero is opting for a likely sweat fest in New Orleans for August 24 and 25. Sage Summit, which hasn’t been held since 2019, was also a spring event. But conference was folded year in favor of combining it with the Sage Intacct event, whose Advantage was always held in the fall. Last year, the new Sage Transform was an all-Intacct event but this year the rest of the Sage lineup will be brought into the Transform tent from October 10 to 14 in Orlando, Fla.
