B2B, NFP DRIVE PAYA GROWTH Featured

 Two vertical markets were key factors in revenue growth for Paya for the fourth quarter ended December 31. The payments company recently said it ended 2021 with a $3.1 million loss compared to $500,000 in red ink for 2020.

Revenue for the most recently ended year was $249.4, million an increase of 21 percent from $206 million the prior year. “Our B2B and not-for-profit verticals were the larger drivers of volume growth this [fourth] quarter, CFO Glenn Renzulli said during the company’s recent earnings webcast. For the fourth quarter, total revenue was $67 million, an increase of 24 over the prior year. The Integrated Solutions sector, which includes B2B and NFP, saw a 33-percent rise in revenue to $43.1 million. For the year Integrated solutions revenue grew 27 percent to $155.2 million and payment services revenue increased 13 percent to $94.2 million. Paya expects revenue ranging from $275 million to $283 million for the current year, representing growth of 10.3 percent to 13.5 percent. That excludes incremental results from the recently purchased VelocIT, which had about $3 million in annual revenue.
