“Of note, the number of job openings we posted in the third quarter increased by 92 percent compared to the same period a year earlier,” CEO Paul Raymond said. The loss shrank to $3.5 million for the most recently ended quarter, compared to a loss of $4.8 million a year ago. Revenue rose to $109.7 million from $70.6 million in last year’s corresponding quarter. The Oracle business in the United States was very strong because of its strength in the healthcare market. “We are seeing a big acceleration on the healthcare side,” Raymond commented during the recent earnings webcast. He said both Microsoft and Oracle performed well but did not specify what drove the Microsoft business except to comment “Microsoft and Oracle are strong in different industries.” U.S. revenue increased 22.2 percent to $33.7 million while Canadian business had $72.1 million in revenue, a rise of 80.2 percent from last year’s corresponding period. The Canadian quarter included $15.4 million from the acquired R3D Conseil.
