QLIK GOING PUBLIC AGAIN Featured

Analytical software vendor Qlik is going public, again. The company has submitted a draft registration statement with the SEC confidentially, so detailed information is not available.

The number of shares and price range have not been determined. Its product line includes Qlik Sense, cloud analytics. Qlik first went public in 2010, but was acquired for about $3 billion by Thoma Bravo in 2016 and taken private. For its last publicly reported year, Qlik lost $36.5 million on revenue of $612.7 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2015. At that time, its revenue mix was 53.4 percent from licenses, 37.4 percent from maintenance and 9.2 percent from professional services. Its Solution Providers include CohnReznick and Wipfli. My impression is the program formerly had several more mid-market ERP resellers.
