U.S. ORACLE BIZ STRONG FOR ALITHYA Featured

The Oracle business was “very strong” strong for Canada-based Dynamics reseller Alithya in the second quarter ended September 30. CEO Paul Raymond this week  singled out the Oracle business as a major factor in the 17.1-percent increase in revenue for the United States.

For the recently ended period, revenue in this country reached roughly $25 million, Overall, Alithya’s business was strongly impacted by the purchase of R3D Consulting  Alithya’s loss fell to about $2.23 million, down 52.3 percent year-over-year. Company revenue grew to approximately $84 million, an increase of 54 percent. The acquisition  translated in a 69.1-percent increase in revenue in Canada to about  $53.2 million. During this week’s earnings Webcast, Raymond noted the wider growth in the Oracle business “We've expanded out of healthcare, basically the reputation we have as the Oracle cloud leader in healthcare in the US as having repercussion on other industries,” he said. “So we've expanded that now into financial services and high tech.”
