New CEO Søren Krogh Knudsen noted during the recent earnings webcast that in local [U.S.] currency, the total was only down 6 percent. Reminds me of the ‘60s book title, “Been Down So Long, Looks Like Up to Me”. It’s been years since American operations reported increased revenue. In the most recent effort, U.S. revenue dropped to roughly $9.5 million. Services revenue in this country fell 10.5 percent to about $4.7 million and product revenue dropped 12.9 percent to approximately the same amount. The company’s overall increase in sales stemmed from Norway, with a 71-percent increase in revenue to about $11.3 million. Having sales in Norway exceed those in the U.S. was probably not in the plan. Overall, Columbus reported net profit of approximately $1.5 million, down 53 percent from last year’s corresponding period. Overall revenue reached about $66.9 million, an increase of 6 percent over a year ago; 5 percent in constant currency. Cloud ERP product revenue fell .2 percent to approximately $9.1 million while cloud services revenue increased 3 percent to roughly $32.1 million. Overall product revenue was flat at about $12.3 million.
