TAYLOR MACDONALD TO RETIRE Featured

 Taylor Macdonald is retiring from his position as senior VP of channel sales at Sage Intacct. Macdonald, who will leave a the end of the year, said Nancy Teixeira, will serve as the interim VP of the combined VAR organization of Sage and Intacct.

“I will be around until the end of the year to help ensure there is a smooth transition and assist in finding a permanent leader of the combined VAR program,” he noted. Sage has been combining its legacy ooperations and Intacct. It merged the reseller conference in the spring and Sage Intacct Advantage is becoming Sage Transform this fall. Next year, the Sage Summit conference will end and all products will moe to Transform. Before moving to the vendor side of the business, Macdonald led the award-winning Macdonald Consulting Group from 1990 to 1998. He then joined  to Sage Software to manage the channel February 1998 through 2007.  He led  the Deltek channel for slightly more than a year and another year was spent at educational software vendor Promethean. He joined Intact as VP of channel sales in June 2010 and that was changed to SVP in February 2016. He moved back to Sage with its purchase of Intacct in 2017.
