SAGE NAMES TWO SENIOR EXECS Featured

 Sage has hired two senior level executives with one moving into the new role of EVP of international markets. The action included naming Microsoft and Oracle veteran Walid Abu-Hadba as chief product officer. His major role is growing the Sage Business Cloud.

The United Kingdom-based software company also hired Stanimira Koleva to the new EVP position. Abu-Hadba spent 21 years five months at Microsoft where his last role was as corporate VP of the developer and platform evangelism group from October 2007 through February 2013. He was then chief product officer for Ansys from April 2013 through June 2017 and then joined Oracle where he was SVP of developer tools from September 2017 through June 2020. Koleva will lead Sage international markets outside the United Kingdom, Ireland and North America. Her team includes the managing directors of Central Europe, Southern Europe, Iberia, Africa and the Middle East and Asia Pacific.  Koleva spent five years nine months at Cisco where she held a variety of senior-level roles. She then moved to Microsoft and was GM for the Small & Midmarket Solutions and Partners Group, Microsoft Asia Pacific from April 2013 through June 2015. Koleva was with Citrix from August 2016 through December 2018 and managed the company’s regions in Japan and the Asia Pacific. Immediately before joining Sage, she served as SVP and GM of the Asia Pacific and Japan for Here Technologies from January 2019 through March 2021
