EUROPE LOCKDOWNS DENT PRODWARE Featured

France-based Sage and Dynamics reseller, Prodware, reported a 4.9-percent drop in revenue for the first quarter ended March. That came as software integration revenue fell by 10 percent because of COVID-19-related lockdowns in its European markets

The firm’s revenue came in around $54.5 million for the most recently ended quarter. Software integration revenue fell to roughly $25 million “due in part to travel restrictions (with remote working not systematically being a viable option),” Prodware said in a prepared statement. However, SaaS revs rose 10 percent on a pro-forma basis to approximately $25 million while there a 16-percent rise in software sales to roughly $18.9 million, pro forma. The pro forma calculation reflect the restatement for results for the first quarter of 2020, owing to the sale of Prodware’s Tunisian subsidiary and its Israeli software integration business. Quarterly revenue rose 1.34 percent pro forma. Prodware singled out its German operations as strong. Sales there were slightly less than $6 million for the recently ended quarter, an increase of 9 percent. Prodware will report earnings for the period later. It does not release them with the initial revenue report.
