IFS BUYS AXIOS SYSTEMS Featured

IFS, a sister company to Acumatica, has signed an agreement to acquire Axios Systems, which makes cloud-based Enterprise Service Management software. The deal is expected to be completed this quarter.

Terms were not disclosed. Axios is based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The companies did not provide statistics, but Zoominfo reports Axios has 311 employees and $29 million in revenue. D&B gives 20 employees and $3.29 million in sales for the operations in the United States. Estimates by other services are fairly close to the company total. IFS has started making a lot of noise this year with the introduction this month of the IFS Cloud, which brings together its applications into a common platform. It is also talking of building its mid-market channel with a conservative recruiting policy. IFS said its service management business grew by 100 percent in 2020. Netherlands-based IFS reported company revenue of approximately $864.7 million for the year ended December 31, a 14-percent increase over 2019.
