INTACCT'S LINDEN LEAVING SAGE Featured

After a little over a year, Marc Linden is  leaving his role running Sage Intacct. The departure was announced during a channel call this week.

No departure date was given. Technically, Linden’s title was EVP and GM of Sage’s Medium Segment Native Cloud Solutions, with Intacct and Sage People the native cloud solutions. Maybe this is why I felt his role in the recent Sage Intacct Advantage conference was strangely perfunctory. I have to wonder if this is preparatory to a more serious melding of the Sage and Intacct organizations beyond what has already been announced.  In any event, there have been reports of significant Sage layoffs following the end of its financial year on September 30, but not many details have emerged and Sage did not respond to an email inquiry asking for comment. Among known changes David Faupel, VP of marketing from July 2017 through this month left to become chief marketing officer of Priority Technology Holdings, which makes merchant acquiring and commercial payment applications.
