VISMA GETS NEW INVESTORS Featured

Majority investor, Hg, has put more money into Sweden-based software company, Visma, as has another existing investor, CPPIB. Meanwhile, Visma announced this month that  Warburg Pincus and TPG have become investors.

The size of the investment was not disclosed. Hg now owns 54 percent of Visma. The company’s announcement said management and core strategy will not change, which includes further expansion in Europe. Visma said it has grown to a valuation of $3.5 billion in 2014 to $12.2 million. Last month, the software company reported net income of approximately $30.5 million on revenue of roughly $480.4 million for the second quarter ended June 30. Net income was up 103.7 percent from a year earlier and revenue rose 26.6 percent.
