Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, HSO says it has more than 900 professionals. AKA reported in its submission for Bob Scott’s Top 100 VARs for 2020 that it had $36 million in revenue and 136 employees. Alan Kahn and Jack Ades, who founded AKA in 1989, will lead HSOs operations in the United States. HSO was named Microsoft’s Partner of the Year in Modern Finance and Operations. HSO said the deal is its first major acquisition since it received what it termed “significant investment” from The Carlyle Group in August 2019. The size of the investment was not disclosed
