Sage Intacct 2022 Release 2 has debuted. The recently introduced product adds support for evergreen subscriptions.

Sage says the capability enables customers to bill auto-renewing subscription. Winifer Cheng, director of product management said during a recent interview that before the new capability, “We could do evergreen billing, but it required some workarounds. The software can also manage billing and revenues in perpetuity, including all future up-selling and down-selling, cancellations and recurring billing cycles. Cheng says with the software users can determine, “What’s back order on hand. In the warehouse and where it is and can they actually sell these items.” The software also offers what Sage terms a “streamlined progress billing process” under its Construction Contracts and Billing capability. It additionally haso improved the creation of AIA-style payment applications, which Sage says is extremely important for this market.  Finally, Sage says the capabilities include “Fully integrated cost and revenue change management from the estimate to the contract.” Evergreen Subscriptions is available in all regions and Construction Contracts and billing in the United States. Inventory Fulfillment is in the early-adopter phase in this country.
