 IFS has introduced the first of two updates to IFS Cloud for 2022, which includes analytics enhancements. IFS Cloud was brought to market a year ago, a product the company said brought its applications into a single platform.

The enhanced product offers what the company calls ready-to-go analytics—pre-built content with customizable analytics reports. There are new analysis models for EAM, CRM, HCM, and Manufacturing and self-service analytics. Also new is a service request capability, including support for quotation management and the ability to set geo-positions for assets from mobile devices, record one-off locations for jobs, and update job locations. In addition, the new release adds calendar-based work, shift templates that better support a range of working time pattern and collaboration, communication, and mapping tools in Dispatch Console. Other additional capabilities include a Boomi Connector with pre-built mappings connects IFS Cloud and third party CRM vendors such as Salesforce and the incorporation of survey and feedback capabilities extended in IFS Cloud with Product Widget from Customerville, which was acquired by IFS nine months  ago.
