I agree with your statement that Dynamics SL was not developed by Microsoft -- the folks in Findlay have always been the development and support engine, even if there are now some Microsofties guiding product development decisions. However, Dynamics GP was certainly NOT developed by Microsoft (just ask Doug Burgum and his team in Fargo) and both Dynamics AX and Dynamics NAV were initially developed in Europe. I am pleased to hear that something is in the works for us "livestyle" partners -- the transition is going to be hard in any case.
