Rootstock Software has named Raj Badarinath to the newly created position of chief marketing and product officer. The ERP software company pointed to his hiring as one of the steps taken because of the infusion of capital from its purchase in August by private equity company Gryphon.

The series of 20-percent-plus growth quarters for Oracle NetSuite revenue continued in the first quarter ended June 30. Oracle this week reported that NetSuite revenue was up 27 percent, representing a 30-percent gain in constant currency.

 Acquisitive ERP company Visma is entering into France with the plan to Paris-based Inqom. Visma operates i   the Nordic companies, Benelux, Spain and Latin America, a total of 29 countries.
