Plex Systems has announced what it calls a “new modularization approach” for its Smart Manufacturing platform. The manufacturing software company this week announced three new modules as a part of this approach. 

Unit4 has acquired Scanmarket, which makes procurement software. Terms were not disclosed.

Hans Henrik Thrane is resigning as CFO of reseller Columbus as of August 31. He is leaving after 12 years in the position. The company’s board said the departure stems from Columbus’ strategy of becoming a global consultancy.
