Deltek has acquired ArchiSnapper, which markets mobile applications for creating field reports for architects and engineers. Terms were not acquired. 

Payments company Paya turned in a 25-percent increase for the second quarter ended June 30. However, costs associated with a debt refinancing produced a $3.-million loss for the most recently ended period, compared to earnings of $600,000 a year earlier.

 Avalara finished a typical quarter in some ways on June 30—it had a 45-percent increase in revenue, a record percentage as a public company. However it also cranked up its loss for the second quarter by 177 percent.
