KTL also carries Acumatica and Dynamics GP and SL while SBS has all four Dynamics accounting packages. SBS has tinkered a bit with its ERP lineup over the last few years. Three years ago, it had Sage 500 and PFW—perhaps we should say Sage tinkered with the line as it killed PFW and led resellers to believe 500 was headed to the product guillotine. There was a lot of that in the crop of VAR Star entries—companies that left Sage 500 and companies selling product lines to concentrate on the remainder of their offerings.
SBS ADDS ACUMATICA LEADER Featured
The SBS Group has signaled its plan to develop its Acumatica business. It has hired Gary Francart as national practice manager for the cloud-based financial software. Francart joined the Edison, N.J.-based VAR this month after working for five years and three months as director of sales for Frederick, Md.-based KTL Solutions, which he joined in May 2004.
