The cards can be set up to measure a wide variety of variables. Ramakrishnan says to examine factors involved with "a specific project or customer or any business driver. You can quickly decide what kind of comparisons you want to do. There is no time lag" because of its connection to Intacct's multi-dimensional GL. Ramakrishnan says users can set up metrics tailored to a company's operations.

Intacct has added Performance Cards, a business analysis tool, in the latest release of its online software. Intacct says the cards provide quick access to data for insights. "They are native to the financial system of records," says Vijay Ramakrishnan, the company's senior director of product marketing. The cards are dashboard visualizations.
