Come to think of it, there isn't a lot about payroll on the company's web site and I don't remember it being officially introduced in the United States. The payroll section of Xero's website shows add-on services from ZenPayroll, ADP, Sure Payroll and Monchilla Payroll. Xero Payroll is based on its purchase of the Australian company, Paycycle, in 2011. Five CPE credits are available for those who show up. In the U.S., the New Zealand-based vendor, has moved its headquarters to a larger facility in San Francisco with offices opening in Denver and New York, adding to one already open in Los Angeles.

Xero has scheduled a road show to provide free training for accountants and bookkeepers. The 20-city tour kicks off on October 21 in Baltimore and ends on November 21 in Honolulu with six of those stops in California from San Diego through the home city of San Francisco and inland to Sacramento. The tour is touted as providing a sneak peak at Xero Payroll.
