SAGE CRM HEAD JUMPS TO CCH
Joe Bergera, who has led the CRM efforts of Sage North America, as EVP and general manager, has moved to tax research powerhouse CCH where he is heading the company's new tax business unit. CCH said the new group, which will be the largest business unit, brings together tax resources such as product development, product management, content, sales and market, and operations and support. 
Bergera joined Sage in June 2004 as SVP and general manager of contact management solutions. At Sage, he most recently served as SVP and general manager of Sage CRM Solutions. He will report to Mike Sabbatis, president and CEO of CCH. Someone familiar with Sage's operations expressed surprise that of the defections from Sage, Bergera was one to go. However, he said Bergera is the kind of person who can "make things happen" and was a great catch for CCH.
