As we are only five days away from the official end to support for Windows XP it will be interesting to see how Microsoft tweaks the end of life for that platform compared to 8.1. With moves like concessions to the banks that still use XP for their ATMs, and other corporate users still on XP, you'd have to wonder if Microsoft might decide it is not wise to lower the ax in one blow and maybe offer a staged demise. But anyway. back to 8.1, Microsoft said that with the update, "Navigating with the mouse and keyboard will feel more familiar and intuitive because there's more consistency with where controls are and how they work" which sounds a bit like a corporate yell of "Uncle."
