The system can track all social media activity involving a customer contact across multiple sites, simultaneously. Also new are the new Social Profiles, which provides a snapshot of each contacts' most-used social media sites and activities, including the contact's LinkedIn profile, integrated into the contact's main overview screen and Social Buzz, which enables users to identify trending topics on social media channels and ascertain how their customers are participating. Version 8.1 also includes Saleslogix Mobile, which was released in November. Among user-required improvements are new Outlook synchronization, improved Sage ERP X3 integration, a new centralized management interface and expanded browser support. The latter enhancement includes support for Chrome, Safari and the latest versions of Firefox.
