He was Epicor's director of technical solutions from August 2012 through January. He is one of two (I know of) people from Epicor management ranks to move to the company's channel this year. Bob Aronson, Epicor's SVP of sales for the Americas, joined reseller Cre8tive Technology and Design as EVP in February. Based in San Diego, Calif., Cre8tive is an Epicor loyalist. The two VARs are from the same generation. The Estes Group was founded in Estes Park, Colo., in 2004 while Cre8tive started business in 2005.

The EstesGroup, an Epicor and NetSuite reseller, has named Ben Nixon to the newly created positions of VP of enterprise technology. Nixon worked at Epicor Software from March 2000 until taking the new job.
