Industry 4.0 packages that feature IoT capabilities are being introduced that include a jump-start package and accelerator package. Those are complemented by the SAP Distributed Manufacturing application for additive manufacturing 3D printing services. An Industry 4.0 package is scheduled later to provide advanced manufacturing insight and controls, machine learning functionality and predictive analysis for quality and maintenance operations. Future products are planned to address digital operations of cities, agriculture and energy industries.
