Riva will archive and synchronize email messages and threads back to the CRM systems, along synchronizing contacts, accounts, opportunity records and calendar items. Channel veteran Ken Lorenz has taken over responsibility for the Riva channel in North America. Lorenz, now director of partner engagement says Riva has a channel but "They have not had somebody specifically in charge." With more than 500 names in the Riva program, the job will be more about activation of existing resellers than recruiting new ones. Riva integrates most email and CRM packages via server-side synchronization. Lorenz says no VAR is likely to build a business around reselling Riva.
