Exact Macola described its growth over the last year and pointed to increased contribution from the channel as a major factor in an 83-percent increase in new license revenue over the last two years. In a press release, the Exact Macola said it had brought on a number of new solution providers since hiring Gayle Prokop as director of alliances and channel development last year. But it did not name any of the new resellers or give the size of its channel and has made no public announcements about signings. There are 39 VARs listed on its website which I think is up from about 33 a few years ago. The company also was not specific in stating it is the middle of increasing its staff size by 30 percent while not giving the size of the current or future staff.
