He had illustrious positions in the early years, joining the former Sun Microsystems in 1989 where ended up as EVP of software and was responsible for Sun's software products strategy and development, including the acquisition of MySQL, and for driving Sun's product, licensing and support businesses. William Hunt served as CPO from March 2014 through April 2015, going on to serve as a group VP at Oracle. SugarCRM has hired Richard Green as chief product officer. In the job, he will lead the company's SugarCRM's engineering and product management teams, The Cupertino, Calf.-based cloud CRM vendor says Green brings expertise in enterprise software, predictive analytics, mobile application design and open source technology. Green was most recently senior sales executive/premium domain broker for Afternic/GoDaddy where he had worked since July 2010.
