Users can also now import files from Microsoft Project to update existing Open Plan projects and they can also create baselines in Open Plan schedules and update progress in existing Microsoft Project schedules. A network view has been added to provide increased user control over formatting, styles, fonts and placements. This capability allows users to quickly generate key outputs customized for their company or client.

Deltek Open Plan 3.5, a scheduling and resource management application, has come to market. Herndon, Va.-based Deltek says the new release improves on the product's critical path management scheduling. "This latest update enhances the user experience, delivers more capabilities, and improves integration between Open Plan and other systems," Namita Dhallan, EVP of product strategy and engineering, said in a prepared statement.
