Before Socius, the most recent signing was perennial Sage award winner, Blytheco of Laguna Hills, Calif., early this month. Berwyn, Pa.-based Vertex SMB has already signed deal with McGladrey, Cargas Systems and Net@Work. And so far, Vertex has been well balanced in signing Dynamics and Sage resellers to market the Vertex TaxCentral program. Also in October, the company's product received the Built for NetSuite certification. The NetSuite certification is part of the SuiteCloud Developer Network program.

Vertex SMB continued to sign top resellers for its sales and use tax business. The company said this week it has signed Socius, a Dublin, Ohio-based company that has been an award winner for both Microsoft and Sage and has been the only reseller to be selected as a member of the Dynamics Inner Circle and Sage President's Circle the same year and did that more than once. Socius is led by CEO Jeff Geisler.
