Gary Kirstein, owner of SCCC, has been named Aktion's supply chain sales manager. The supply chain product list features Infor10 Distribution iBusiness (A+) for the IBM iSeries and SX.enterprise for Windows and Unix platforms. Aktion handles Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate and Dynamics CRM and also offers Deltek Vision for the PSA and architect and engineering markets. Its financial accounting business is built around the cloud-based Intacct line.

Aktion Associates, a reselling and consulting firm based in Maumee, Ohio, has acquired Softcare Computer Consulting Co. Aktion says the deal makes it one of the largest Infor Wholesale Distribution Business Partners in the United States. All field sales and service personnel of Pittsburgh, Pa.-based SCCC have joined Aktion as of the end of February and both the Maumee and Pittsburgh offices will be maintained.
