He is a CPA and a former reseller who for many years was a key part of the team that organized and presented the AICPA's technology conference. A not-for-profit, professional association of CPA firms, consulting firms and technology vendors, ITA also appointed Mark Severance, director of sales and marketing for reseller Arxis Technology, and April Blankenship, director of marketing at Altec, as new board members. They join current board members, Stuart Tholen, a partner with Eide Bailly; Stacy Schuettler, president of LBMC Technology Solutions; David Emmer, CIO of Anchin, Block & Anchin; and Brian Austin, director of industry relations for Avalara.
INTACCT'S BURCH NAMED ITA CHAIR Featured
Peyton Burch, Intacct's director of channel sales, has been named chair of the Information Technology Alliance. The organization also named Baker Tilly CIO Allen Smith as vice-chair. The announcement was made during the ITA Fall Collaborative in Las Vegas. Burch has been with the cloud software company since October 2010.
