Of course, in college her social life could be stifled by dates who fear that if they misbehave she will turn them into frogs. ... The Audubon Society is considering adding drone watching to its activities. Members will be encourage to classify drones by color, country of origin and cruising altitude. “Oh, I just love it when the drones come back to Capistrano every year.”

… A headline on the web this week says, “Walker comes across morbid body part on beach”. I guess that’s as opposed to the non-morbid body parts we usually find. “Oh, look daddy, a toe, can I keep it?”. “Yes, but stay away from the morbid parts.” …. This weekend starts the annual AICPA joint for its Tech plus a lot of other stuff conference in Las Vegas. . I like to think Vegas, combines the thrill of losing with the agony of defeat … A  recent study maps the words U.S. residents use to describe carbonated beverages – soda in the Northeast and California, pop in large parts of the Midwest and Coke in the South. I’m from the area in which fur piece means a measure of distance, not an article of clothing. … It’s bad enough that the government is monitoring my phone calls and the software vendors know what I’m doing with their online software. Then I found out that my copy of Microsoft Office was informing on me to the IRS. But having all your calls monitored is nothing new for certain generations. What's the big deal? I grew up using a party line . … Everybody understands the Chinese monitoring our calls – they just want to protect their investment. . … And then there was the day I heard this response on voice mail “If you would like your calls recorded in Spanish, press 2 now.” … I have considered buying a recording for my niece’s baby of the Samuel L. Jackson Book of Lullabies, including that favorite, “Sleep, #@%3, Baby Sleep."
