The existing categories are Northern Europe, Central and Southern Europe, North America and International. Beside separating out the U.S. and Canada, Sage will separately report revenue in the following: France, Central Europe, Iberia, Australia and Asia; Africa and Middle East; and Latin America. Northern Europe segment reporting is apparently unchanged. Sage also plans to add a. new measurement, Sage Business Cloud Penetration, to company-wide and segment reporting. It did not say when the change will kick in but given the timing of the filing on the company’s investor relations section of its web page, it suggests data will be provided for the first half ended March 31. It looks like Sage will provide revenue for these segments for fiscal 2019 and 2018, but will not go as far back as fiscal 2017. Sage once reported U.S. revenue but it has been several years since that was a standard practice.
