Woldbye-Tholin was director of delivery & quality, financial services at Tieto from September 2010 through December 2011. All the companies, including Columbus, are based in the Copenhagen, Denmark area. A Dynamics reseller and ISV Columbus said the creation of the ColumbusCare position is part of its Columbus 2020 strategy announced in March with the intention of building a best-in-class support organization.

Columbus has named Marianne Woldbye-Tholin to the new position of VP of the company's global ColumbusCare organization. She was most recently VP for project management in KMD from June 2015 through July 2016, and was with TRYG from October 2012 through May 2015 and was director of business development from October 2012 through May 2015.
