Both companies are based in Chattanooga. PA Group USA is part of Udine, Italy-based PA Group Global, which has 12 offices in Italy and one each in Hong Kong, China and USA. The global organization says it has more than 400 employees and 3,000 active customers. The Chattanooga-based organization also markets Dynamics AX ERP Retail and Porini's Apparel & Textile ERP software, which has been certified for AX. Buchan was an executive at Porini from August 2000 through January 2011. The PA Group described the new Microsoft cloud program as enabling it to be a "one-stop shop for subscriptions, value-added services, support, and billing for all Microsoft Cloud products such as Office 365, Azure, and Dynamics CRM Online." The parent organization is also an SAP service partner and offers analytic products from SAP (BusinessObjects), IBM (Cognos), and Microsoft, along with Lilith BI.
PA GROUP ACQUIRES CLOUD NINE Featured
Dynamics AX reseller, PA Group USA has purchased Dynamics CRM VAR Cloud Nine Solutions. PA Group USA has also joined the new Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider program. The acquiring company already carried Dynamics CRM, but its CEO, Jon Buchan, said the deal will bolster its CRM practice "because it gives us entry into key public sector verticals such as economic development and education that are very strategic to our growth."
