ATS was once an Epicor reseller and KeyedIn chair George Klaus and his wife, CEO Laurie Klaus, were executives at Epicor Software. After the Klauses formed KeyedIn in 2012, the next management at Epicor in 2013 successfully obtained an injunction blocking ATS from using its products and intellectual property. They alleged ATS illegally used or duplicated Epicor software to provide unauthorized consulting and software customization services. In 2014, Epicor added four ATS executives as defendants.
