The Danish reseller recently reported that growth came as revenue in this country from Dynamics sales decreased slightly. U.S. revenue for the most recently ended quarter was approximately $9.5 million, an increase of 9.5 percent and the largest percentage increase for the Columbus operations here in some time. Columbus reported net profit of roughly $1.6 million, compared to a small loss in last year’s corresponding period. Revenue rose to about $50.5 million, up 10 percent from a. year ago. There was about $26 million in revenue from the Dynamics product line, by far the largest segment of Columbus revenue. That represented a 9.8-percent increase year-over-year, up 17 percent organically. Total M3 revenue declined 3.7 percent to about $9.5 million, but that was sharply impacted by an 8-percent loss from currency changes. Organically, M3 sales were up .3 percent. CEO Søren Krogh Knudsen said the biggest market for the software is Sweden, which devalued its currency, causing a hit to revenue. However, Knudsen said M3 produced a larger than usual profit contribution. He noted the company had rebuilt its M-3 pipeline and the company’s quarterly report said Columbus trained and graduated 26 new M-3 consultants during the reported period.
