EPICOR TOPPED $1 BILLION Featured

 Epicor topped $1 billion in revenue in fiscal 2022. That represented 9-percent growth year-over-year, CFO Sam Monti said during a webcast this week, an unusually newsy webcast.

The ERP software company has been relatively quiet over the last few years as it was passed between venture capital owners. But the load of information raises the obvious question of whether the company might go public again. In any case, Monti said annual recurring revenue is “north of $800 million” with SaaS comprising 30 percent of that amount. Monti said that is up from 15 percent three years ago. That would explain why the revenue growth for the year at 9 percent is relatively low compared to companies with a heavier contribution from the cloud.  Adjusted EBITDA is 41 percent and more than 50 percent of new bookings are cloud products. “Cloud is driving the growth of this company,” Monti said.
